Barred Rock 16 weeks. Rooster or hen?

For what it's worth, I have three BR's exactly 16 weeks old, and, while there is a large range in terms of how developed/red their wattles/combs are, your bird in question's wattles/comb are waaaay more developed/red even than my most developed girl, Coraline. Here's Coraline, taken just a couple of days ago:

I vote male, also. I see the shiny, skinny hackle and saddle feathers coming in--this guy is just a late bloomer. I've raised many BR chicks up here and have had a few late bloomers, Zane being one of them, but the shiny, skinny saddle feathers tell the tale every time.
