Barred Rock 4 months old: Rooster?

My 5 month old BR has a very small
Comb and wattle and they are pink in color, I'm guess she's a she and he's a he. I know this is a very old post but wanted to see if it was in fact a rooster and when is started crowing. My BR is being questioned, but at 5 months has this tiny comb and doesn't crow.
