This is the same barred rock that I have posted before. Now that he/she is 3 weeks can anyone tell if its a girl or boy? I also have 2 other 3 weekers. An EE that is very aggressive and the largest, and a production red. What do ya'll think? If any look like boys I will be going today to find some pullets. Thanks!

did you have them when they were chicks? if you did, post a pic of the BR when it was a chick. (when BRs are chicks the cockerels have a white spot on there head and the pullets don't.)

I thought the cockerels had a bigger dot and the female's were smaller and compact????? if theres not a dot of white on the head it wouldn't be a barred rock..

No, no, no, all Barred Rock chicks have a head spot. You're talking about black sexlinks, not bRs.

The first chick is a pullet. No question. Male would be much lighter, in BR or sexlink, either one.

Agree that the BR is a pullet, same with the production red. And that ee could turn out to be a pullet too, it's tough to tell ee's at this age. Mine looked just like that at that age, she was a moose! Way bigger then the other chicks with huge legs.
