Barb, I have egg customers up until the time that my rooster, Scout, goes to live with his new owner at the end of the month. There's no way I can get anymore eggs to hatch for myself and frankly, after the last BR egg that's currently in the hatcher is done, I'm putting away the bators for a few months. I may get back into Ameraucanas at a later date, but my DH doesn't care for their flying abilities, LOL. If I miss them too much, he may just have to deal with it! I'm keeping Charlotte herself and her sister, Silver, is going with Scout to his new home in S.C.

At least the little chick has a name now - Chip!

This baby still is a little oddball. Look at him on top of the stuffed monkey and see how light he is compared to the all the other BR chicks, cockerels included. On the last pic, he appears darker than he really is, but see the markings? What an interesting little guy. Should be fun to see how he feathers out.
