This Barred Rock chick is 5 or 6 weeks old. Do you think it is a rooster or pullet? Thanks!

It looks like a cockerel to me.

Well usually the roo's do not like physical contact,and hens are more docile. Just a self experienced

Mine have always been the opposite. Pullets are mean until they lay and cockerels are sweet until they hit puberty.

My barred rock hen has always bitten me, while the roo was always the sweetest. It looks like a pullet though.
