It's hard to tell from the pics but I would guess female.

You can sex Barred Rock and Dominique chicks with pretty good accuracy by head spot, leg color and down color. See this post and the next one in the same thread:

It's a little hard to see in your pics. To my eye, females look like someone washed the fronts of their legs with watery black paint while males are just yellowish. I never have a lot of luck with the head spot. Also, females have darker down.
 
Its a little young to tell the gender, but my guess would be pullet, based off of feather color. Some people can guess on the gender of barred birds by leg color, head spots, etc,., but these methods are not always accurate. Post some more photos when its older, and we'll be able to tell its gender a little better.
 
Maybe a boy but too early to tell. I'm thinking boy because it seems boys start out with longer faces, but the feathering looks like it's going well which would lean toward girl. Wait a couple weeks.
 
I was hoping I had some hens possibly from my packing peanuts but I am thinking now no such luck.
