I hope I am posting in the right spot.
I have 5 Barred Rock Speckled Sussex cross chicks ranging from 2-7 days old and 4 out of the 5 have white/yellow spots on the back of their heads while one does not. Does this mean the one without a spot is a female? I have read that having a prominent spot on the back of the head is a sign of a roo in some br crosses and was wondering if it would hold true with this cross.
Thanks for any help you are able to give
