Barred Rock Experts? Hen or Roo?

I would expect it is far more likely to get a dark male than to get a light female.

I have been raising barred rocks for 3 years, and I have to say that I'm pretty sure you have 2 roos!

Where are you in Texas? I don't know of any roo rescues, but i am interested in getting a br roo for breeding with my br girls. I live north of Houston.
