I get my birds from Meyer Hatchery since they're better quality.

Just would hate to have to find another home for a rooster that’s why I ordered pullets. I already have one and had to rehome 2 others (which is always difficult to find takers). Hopefully it’s a pullet.

Given how much black is in the wing feathers, and that it was supposed to be a female, I think it might be female. (Can't be sure yet, of course.)

She's a lovely example of why head-spot sexing fails with certain individual chicks
