Barred Rock Gender help

Possibly a Cuckoo Marans or Black Sex Link cockerel.

Bought it as a barred rock. I have 4 of them and the other 3 have much lighter combs and more gray on their legs

I think 7.5-8 weeks.

That much color in the comb at this age says male. I agree the color is not right for a pure barred rock, that's why Fred suggested cuckoo or a mix like a black sex link.

Looks like my hatchery stock BR's. Has the darker color of a Pullet but the comb seems a little too red might have to wait a little longer to tell for sure.

I agree - feather color says pullet, comb and face redness says cockerel. Hopefully she is just blushing
