Barred rock, hen or rooster?!

Hi there I got this barred rock approximately 8-9 week old for free from someone and I'm stumped on whether it's a roo or hen. It's comb is bigger than the others it came with (other than a select few which I suspect are roosters) and it has very vibrant legs and colours around its neck. I have someone who will take him as a pet if it's a roo I just want to make sure before I get rid of him that he is a he lol.

That's a big red comb for a 8-9 week old, and it has the double baring.

I agree, definitely a cockerel. I don't think he's pure barred rock though, because of the yellow leakage on his neck.

Thank you I had a hunch he's super friendly but my other ones that are for sure hens looked a bit different than him
