Barred Rock Hen or Rooster?

I am unsure of the age of it, the person I bought it from was also unsure so i guess it's kind of up in the air on that. I am just having some anxiety that this is a rooster, I am new to all of this and have a tough time telling. The saddle feathers appear to be rounded as opposed to pointed as far as I can tell but I am still unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

That's a good idea, I may explore that option. I just posted an add on craigslist so hopefully it will go pretty fast. I would definitely keep him, he's one of my favorites I am just too close to neighbors with the noise.

Rooster for sure, but its not a barred rock. His legs are white; barred rocks have yellow legs. He is a Cuckoo Marans.
