Barred Rock Hen??

I'm pretty sure she's a pullet, but we've had two others of a different breed that are for sure roosters and we don't have a permit for roosters, so now I'm paranoid! None of the other breeds her age have much of a comb at all. She's 11 weeks old. Do barred rocks just mature much more quickly in this respect?

Looks like a roo
Hens will be black w/ white stripes, while roosters will look white w/ black stripes
Although, I'm no expert!

Sorry...I vote rooster. My Barred rock hen is way more black with white stripes...

Sorry, but that's a rooster. Roosters have wider, more prevalent white barring.

Pics above are a very good example of the difference.

Hens combs that I have weren't that red and none were that light, I would like a side shot though, the roo to the left was 12 wks old . Monster comb and waddles, hackles, saddle, and upright tail. He is Top Dog of the 4 Rock roos we have.
