Wow you might be right... are dominiques overall smaller birds then barred rocks? Because Judy is just smaller then Liza and she doesn’t have the same appetite but she’s bossy to Liza it’s so strange.No I think Judy is a dominique.

I'm not sure if on average they are smaller, but I have two buff brahmas, typically enormous breeds, and one hen is more standard size where the other is nearly double the first one's weight. She likes to get too close to the camera but here are some up close photosDo you have any pictures close up of the second hens comb? That should confirm if she’s a barred rock or Dominique. BR have a single comb while doms have a rose comb.
The larger comb is single so not a Dom. Rocks have single combs.I think the hen with the larger comb is the Dominique, while the
other hen is the BR. I have both birds at 17 weeks and that's
exactly how they look.
