I'm so proud...this is a 4 month old roo that I hatched and sold in July as a baby chick. Out of the 4 chicks they bought, only one was a roo. Well, today they brought him back because they didn't want any roosters.
He's a fine looking young man!!! But I'm curious to know if anyone can pinpoint his mix. He's definitely not full BR (rooster was a barred rock), so the hen was either a Rhode Island Red, red star, black star, or araucana. He doesn't look araucana-ish to me at all, so I'm guessing one of the other 3 considering his white isn't white - it's more yellow. Ideas?
