Barred rock nail broken

I have a barred rock hen who I’ve just noticed one of her nails broke and is bleeding quite a bit, what should I do?

If this happens again you can use something like corn starch or flour to stop the bleeding. I would try to keep a blood stop product on hand for just this type of circumstance in the future.
