Barred Rock pullet or cockerel??

S/he is about 2.5 weeks old - would love any help sexing this Barred Rock chick! Thanks!!

That doesn’t look like a 2.5 week old chick, it looks a week younger than that to me. Way too early to tell, 5-7 weeks is better for BRs.
 
Born before April 7 according to the woman at Tractor Supply re: when they get their chicks in, not sure of the exact date.
 
There were some folks who seemed to have a good idea on chicks between 2-4 weeks, so hoping some of them will have some insight to offer.
 
They would have had to have born between April 5 and April 12. So 2.5 weeks is the approximation, no it may not be exact.

That's going to be a cockerel based on the barring. Not everyone is going to agree you can tell that young but when I had barred rocks the cockerels got clear straight stripes soon as their wing feathers came in and the pullets were more white scattered dots. You can check back in a couple weeks when a pink comb should start to develop.
