Quick update on Ayrion's situation. We returned him to his breeder and he has been re homed on a larger farm with 10 new barred rock pullets to watch over!

Love that update, what a great breeder! I wish all mis sexed roos could end up like that!

Thanks melabella! Yes he got lucky! I now have two new black stars ( Marni exchanged Ayrion for them! ) and my first three ladies are now all laying! I love chickens! If I could have more I would! nothing better than their egg song in the morning.
