Barred Rock Roo? 6 - 8 weeks

I've read about the black on the legs identifying a pullet. This looks like a roo to me. Can someone help? Which is it?

That is a rooster. Pullets usually have LOTS of sooty color on the leg fronts, but not always. Leg color is the least reliable trait to use with BRs. You have to take all three identifying traits together to sex them. Yours has what I'd expect on a cockerel, even the leg color.

He looks EXACTLY like my black sex-link cockerel. same age too. Look at his comb growing, and his little waddle.

He's definitly a beauty. What's his name? I haven't named mine yet. I was thinking Rocky.
