Cyn, hate to say that our little man Tux turned out to be a BIG MEAN ROO!

We may need to find him a home since He especially likes to go after my 5 year old with his claws and wings!

He really is a Big Beautiful Brut, but it just won't work... I tried Rooster Reds thing about roosters and that seemed to only make him worse! Now I am getting afraid to open the coop to let everyone run around the yard!

I may need to just start over and hatch some more BR babies... Its been a long time since I hatched anything.

Well, darn! I always say that you never know about any rooster till they get to the "raging hormones" stage. That's when the true temperament shows itself. Even roosters who are raised with close contact can turn mean. Most of Hawkeye's sons and grandsons have been awesome, but there have been one or two that I know of who were just different. Sorry he's giving you trouble. If you were closer, I'd give you my Mace. He's a doll!
