Darn, I guess I need to research how to raise Plague for eating. Eating a chicken I raised is one way to stop being a vegetarian...

I just worry that if I tried to sell him or give him away around here, he would be used in cockfighting.

I know there are farms around me because I was going to buy older chickens instead of chicks originally. But they were all trying to sell pullets not cockerels.

Lots more research to be done.

Could you post updated pix?? I’m super curious as to how they are developing, because we have a 2.5 week old barred rock that we are trying to sex as well. The development of thE tail feathers on Plague would make me think maybe he is really a she?? (we are pretty sure ours is a roo but we have diff breeds so no direct comparisons to look at here but each of the others we have seem to have considerably more tailfeathers at this point than Kylo Ren\Hen does.

You could try wing sexing. If plaugue has two rows of feathers, short and long, he's a she. if not he's still a he.
