Oh, yes, they sure do! Gina (ginasmarans) recently had every one of hers go broody at the same time! That'd make me nuts!

Every breed is a cross with something until you go all the way back to the junglefowl. But i alsoi enjoy the distinctness of the breeds, to see all the different shapes and colors of my birds and the variety of colors in my egg cartons. but if we didnt have specific breeds they would all be mutts and never know what u were getting, so i enjoy the consistency also.
i laugh at the goofiness of my crested breeds, the egg laying ability of my cali whites, the color and size of my ee eggs and the color of my br and orpingtons and the absurdity of my nn's. My kids love the soft and gentle tameness of my cochins...life is a box of choclates......

all went broody at the same time? wow, i wouldnt like that at all. I need my eggs every morning, i cant stand grocery store eggs...yuck!

I hear ya on that! I caint stand eggs at restarants, ya know? They just aint near as good...
