Barred Rock?

I ordered 2 barred rock from the hatchery. Two have dark heads and look similar so I assume these are the BR. I also got rainbow pullets. Is the third a rooster because it has white on the head or some other breed?

Barred rocks would have a white/yellow spot on the top of their heads. No spot means it’s not a barred rock. If they are black sex links pullets have no spot and cockerels have a spot.

What color legs do your chicks have? No spot could be an australorp

That means the one That we lost was the other Barred Rock :-(

The first is the one with the white on the head and the second is the one with no white.

The first four pictures look like a barred rock to me. I'm not sure what "rainbow" is but the last two pictures look like an Australorp to me. But perhaps that's the rainbow?

Rainbow is just sending a mix of whatever pullets they have extra. I am happy with Australorps

Oh! A surprise Australorp? Very nice! We lost our second Australorp as a chick. Her "sister" is the most amazing, loving girl. If I were starting from scratch the flock would be mostly Australorp with a couple/few barred rocks thrown in for their excitement/entertainment value They are sweet too, but not like our Australorp...
