Dark legs are usually a sign of females.

Males have light colored legs with little to no dark wash on their legs.

I would say that its a pullet because I heard that Barred rocks have darker legs if they are female.

Your Barred Rocks are incredibly beautiful! In fact, they’re so beautiful that it’s hard to believe they’re BRs! I’m still in complete aww. Are they sweet and docile like they’re supposed to be? Every single poorly bred one I’ve come in contact are little snots.
