barred rocks and silkies?

After the death of my silkies(unknown sickness and a dodgy place

) i was thinking about getting some barred rocks too. I would then have a pair of silkies and a pair of barred rocks

if i can!!! but i don't know if they will get along?

I know that both silkies and barred rocks are friendly, but does any one have an idea?

Many times, crested birds such as Silkies get picked on badly by large fowl. Even uncrested bantams don't always mix well with large fowl and must be housed separately. All chickens live by pecking order, whether they tend to be people friendly or not. If you are going to try this, I would have separate coops and runs available if needed.

I asked the breeder I am getting them from and he said they would be fine.
