Dog thread!🐾

You seem annoyed🤣 How much does he weigh? Are you ever worried he’d knock you down?
I am LOL but it’s my fault for not bringing our usual tools with us cause he’s MUCH better then LOL also my fault for not being more aware and noticing the dog sooner. I think I was on my phone or otherwise looking down and not up before I finally noticed LOL and he weighs like 75-80 lbs and is a STRONG 80 lbs LOL sometimes if he pulls HARD/lunges suddenly at a critter I don’t see or to try to get to a smell, etc. then I do get a little bit nervous just because he’s soooooo strong and in those moments he catches me off guard LOL but I’m stronger. :lau barely. :lau  Sometimes I’m trying to drag him away from a scent or a dog or whatever and he is PLANTED and it’s SO hard to move him LOL but I eventually succeed. :lau I am well over 200 lbs and we used to have a dog well over 100 lbs so I can handle him easily :lau actually, I think he is STRONGER than that 100+ lb dog. :th he’s THAT strong. LOL BUT!!!!!!!!! My dad and stepmom could never walk him because he is WAY too strong and could definitely knock them over. And my dad is a big guy but they’re both older soooooo… MAYBE if he went to boot camp or something and learned to behave better but even then I wouldn’t risk it because he’s just too strong. And I could probably implement my own boot camp with him, I know enough about training etc., but that will take a long time. Which stinks because if I ever have to go away again, he’s gonna be confined to the yard and not get to go on any walkies for however long that is. Which is fine I guess but not fair to him. I do have one friend that I believe could handle him and maybe my BF but I wouldn’t feel right asking them. ANYWAYS!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for rambling LOL

Don’t apologize!!! Yeah that makes sense! And from looking at pictures I am not surprised he is so strong. He is a tank! Chase weights more but he is tall and slender, so I bet Brew is a lot stronger. That is sad. Would you consider hiring someone to walk him?

Thanks!!!!!!! And yeah probably because as you said, he is a tank LOL and maybe!!!!!!!!!!! I’m not sure. That wouldn’t really be a long term solution though because it’s so expensive and plus my dad probably wouldn’t want me to do that anyways. I could PROBABLY ask my friend or BF but the issue is they’re both very busy and my BF doesn’t drive atm (neither do I) so he’d have to ask family to take him which I would feel awful about and then my friend has a baby so obviously pretty busy. So IDK.

Well.. let’s plan on you not going anywhere for a little bitšŸ˜†

Sometimes I’m trying to drag him away from a scent or a dog or whatever and he is PLANTED and it’s SO hard to move him
Tip for moving a stubbornly planted dog: Don't pull back, pull sideways! Grabbing a collar or leash and pulling backwards allows the dog to stay planted. Pulling sideways throws their balance off and makes them shift their feet ... instant "uproot!"

Walk picture! (The black one is a friends dog)
