Barred Rocks Good Shepard Poulty Ranch

Yes, he is in one of my pens. I have him with four older hens, five pullets and the older male I got from good shepard ranch. I have two cockerels in with 14 older hens. I also have one cockerel with four pullets. I had him with the the older hen bunch but he was getting beat up bad. They sure change after being in a breeding pen for a few months. I hope to have 100 chicks by the end February ........half way there.

That pullet on the left in the last picture really shows the "Ringlet" that is often mentioned in regards to the Barred Rocks. Beautiful!!

I've noticed some really awful combs on these gorgeous show type BRs lately. What's up with that? Have you guys noticed it? It bugs me to see such a spectacular barring with a comb with 8-10 weird uneven points on it. I've seen them in several pics from different sources lately.
