Barred Rocks!!

My very first chicken EVER turned out to be a Barred Rock rooster from the feed store!!!!! huge bummer

because I'm not allowed to keep roosters.

Awwww. I'm sorry. I love roosters.

Awww maaaannnnn!! I only have tree and two are roos?! No wonder they haven't started laying. Here are two pics showing the heads of those two but neither are very clear:


I will have to see if I can get a pic off all tree together tomorrow. The other pullet is darker and way smaller - and here I was thinking that one was just a runt!

The one on the bottom of the first pic defiantly looks like a pullet!!! so at least you have one.

Large fowl or Bantam? 

bantam because they are smaller and I can't have more then 5 chickens where I live. I am getting them when they are pullets or P.O.L If he/she has any left

I know have a lovely pair of bantam Barred Rocks... OH MY...

One of My Barred Rock roosters started crowing two days ago!!!

Its so neat to see birds grow up from just little chicks!!
