they are so adorable! I love how BR get their tails so early! Its so cute seeing em run around!

Aggressive rooster.
My roo is about 23 weeks old and is getting aggressive toward my 7 y/o daughter. I heard barred Roos are pretty friendly but he is not. We've tried catching him and holding him to assert our dominance but the moment our daughter is outside alone he chases her or jumps on her and scratches her. Am I wrong to think that it's time to cull him out? I've tried getting rid of him but I cannot find anyone who wants/needs a roo. I'm out of ideas and patience.

Cull him! I have had two wonderful Roosters without a problem! I also have a 9&7 yr old. Lucky pays no mind to them. Last thing you want is your daughter scared Roo's can be vicious! Take a chunk out if a leg or arm. That's what I would do. I'm sure others will have different opinions. Good luck

Our roo took a dislike to my daughter too and in the end it seemed his life mission was to attack her. He would even throw himself against the wire trying to get her. At some point you have to decide who has more right to walk freely round the yard, the rooster or the child. I've a sil with a scar on her leg still at 40 from a rooster attack at age 3. It required stitches.
