Barred Rocks!!

Oh definately! I thought they might even be twins!

They will be moving out this weekend or Monday.

We have 50 BR chicks - now 6 weeks old - 45 pullets and 5 roos - You won't believe how fast they grow! Ours are already so
friendly, inquisitive and interactive with us - we've never raised any other breed but are extremely pleased so far with our BRs.
Can't wait for those big brown eggs either - Yum! Good luck with your little BRs.

Does anyone breed Barred Rock (chicken nuggets) bantams?

I only have one pair and would like some nice hens like kathyinmo has. Can anyone recommend a breeder?

Dick Horstman has some bantam barred eggs on the auction site with no bids so far. He is a rock breeder both large and bantam in most varieties and has some dandy barred bantams. These would be worth the bid.

I wonder if it was Dick who brought the pair that I got to the Mt Hope, OH auction. He said he was going to it. Oh goody! I hope it was, cause I just love them and want some more!
