Is it common for breeders to mix up CMs and BRs? It doesn't bother me, as I'll have to give the Rooster away, but just curious.

they do look a lot alike especially if the marans dont have feathered legs (not all do). Marans have pinkish/white legs, while barred rocks have yellow. In the picture I thought it looked like the pullets had yellow, if so then only the cockerel (which in the pictures he apears to have white) is a cucjoo marans

two pullets (the darker looking birds) and one male (lighter looking) male might be a cuckoo marans as I see pink/white legs not yellow

How old is it? The feathering/shape is hen-like, though the comb is rather large. But that could be normal in a hen of laying age.

I don't see any sickle feathers, and the body shape looks like a hen. I'd say a Hen. But I'm not positive.
