Barred Sizzles

greatful for all the help I can get and to make sure I'm on the right path.. I know it might take time to get the perfect sizzle looks.. but My next step for second gens.. was breeding the cuckoo roo's to some Very good black sizzle hen to try and get the dark skin and correct combs.. also cuckoo sizzle hen to a smooth black sizzle roo with all the characteristics of the sizzles.. and goin from there by selecting the best out of that batch.. Am I goin in the right direction?

Don't have any cuckoo silkies.. actually dont have any silkies at all now sold complteley out of them.. I got to this point with a barred cochin roo and a sizzle hen with not the best type as far as color and comb they were in the same hatch and was the only 2 left that I didn't sell or move out to my breeder pens.. so when these hatched got me to thinking.. kinda an accident but thought hmm? can I ? after i seen the babies. The roo I hatched from eggs bought off ebay that were supposed to be a batch of millie flur bantam cochin eggs??? He's the only one that hatched so really didn't have anything to go with him. The hen isn't from my sizzles, she hatched out of some "Extra" eggs I recieved also. The ones in the pic is what I got out of those.. they have 5 toes but single combs and light skin.. The only choice I have is using some of my sizzles. I'm hoping I will get lucky and 1 or 2 pop up with better combs and darker skin..
