I'm teaching myself about casting aluminum in my home made melting furnace.

I should be able to trade a skills like that for some stuff.

WHat can YOU do that you could barter?

I have had enough herbal medicine classes and learn more as I go along that I could do that in a pinch....at least consult on some of the less dire things,lol.

And could give a good guess at least on those.

only thing I'm good at is keepin my kids in line (for the most part) and puttin a bullet downrange on target. Pretty useless skills in the real world... helpful if there's a massive zombie attack though

Private art lessons (or weaving, or sewing, or stained glass, or spinning, or fused glass or...), plus I make a fabulous croissant....

I have taken friends' pears/apples to can, giving them some of the jars when I'm done in exchange.

I can do math and bio just incase some one wants me to count thier missing fingers I keep animals, I can make jams,jellies,canned fruit and pickles,can bake, I can sew,starting to knit, I can soon barter meat rabbit which for years I've been saying I was going to get some if the economy still sucked, it still does
