When I wash my Silkies or Show Girl I do their top knot by putting Johnson's Baby Shampoo on a damp washcloth and rubbing it in between my fingers. Then to rinse I tilt their head up and pour water from a very small cup back over the top of their head being careful not to get any in their nostrils. I am also very careful to be gentle with their head as I believe they have a soft spot so I dont rub the skin area per say.
You sure didn't leave anything out, very easy to understand. I want to trim around the eyes so they can see. I don't want to pluck them out a little hard on me. How do I go about doing this without hurting my chickens, looking good and being able to see.
