Be sure your hygrometer is calibrated. 1/2 c salt in 1/4 c water in a large ziplock bag with your hygrometer for 8-12 hours. That makes for 75% humidity and if your hygrometer reads anything else, you know how to mentally adjust it. My hygrometer reads 10 points too high.
