Bator Problems

Hey guys,

It has been a year sice I have seen hide nor hair of those fluffy butts we all love, SOOOO I want to hatch some. But, our bator isnt cooporating; it keeps on shutting off. What is wrong with it?? It is a hova bator still air.

does it reach temp before it cuts off. you do know its suposed to cycle on and off. it could be the wafer.

In the HB does it cycle on and off until it reaches temp or does it cycle off when it reaches temp? i ask because I opened my HB still air tonight and it kept shutting off and on and off and on but the temp was not rising much at all so I turned it like a full turn and now its back at 102. I am afraid it will continue to climb though. I am in lockdown!

I DO know it cycles off, but it stays of for hours at a time, and the temp will be low, and when I adjust it, it goes ove 100!! Y??

sounds like you have a bad wafer
