Bators ASAP

$15 dollars an egg actually isn't that bad since with an LG you'll probably cook and throw out more eggs than you hatch....especially if you've never incubated before.

Tractor supply has incubators here for $40. They will also ship to you for a tolerable price. (Check their website.)

Okay, I just need to ask ONE question about the Brinsea Mini Advance - how does it tell the humidity? I read the manual but... since I can't find a display for it, I'm just going on the instructions to fill the reservoir and then fill both reservoirs when I get to lockdown. Is that right? How can I tell? I read all these humidity questions and answers and it makes me nuts!

Yes, I have eggs in it, my very first ever incubation attempt. Hatch date is 8/6.

Thanks for any information - and SO sorry to hijack the thread! (But this Brinsea Mini Advance was on sale and it's digital and so far seems pretty Linda-proof. I mean, foolproof.

Go to petco, petsmart etc.....and get one of those reptile hygrometer's. They are circular (remove the sticky spot from the back, it block the holes) Calibrate it first....then just stick it in next to an egg. It's slightly larger then a quarter. The brand I have is Flukers and I think it was $6.
