Katrina stumbled into camp, wet and muddy. In her mouth was her prize: a fish. She settled down next to her favorite tree, and began to eat.

"I told you to be careful. If you had been looking you probably wouldn't have stepped into one of their traps." Kofi murmured quietly.
Two wild dogs were walking back towards camp. One was a proud she-dog who was limping badly, and she kept lifting her paw in pain. The right pad was very swollen, Astrid's blood still matted thickly around the fur. Luckily the trap's angry metal jaws had been left in the wet too long and rusted through, so she had been able to escape.

The fish eaten, Kat watched the two enter.
Kofi spent a while inspecting Astrid's paw and whining in sympathy as he licked the wound above the pad. When he was satisfied it was not too dangerous, he lifted his head again.

Katrina observed them for a short amount of time. After, she stood up, stretched, and trotted out of camp.

Nia averted her eyes, a small whimper stuck between fear and concern spilled out of her throat. "Nothing," she murmured.
Suddenly, ahead of them, Gamba gave a delighted yelp and turned to lead them up a small hill. He had remembered the way after all. The wild dog's relief was plain as he spotted a fairly large puddle of muddy water and a baobab tree, beyond which he knew lay the den they were hunting for.
Jake faced her,"Do not lie to me, what is wrong?"

Omari soon arrived back at his and Kala's den. With a yawn he dropped his muzzle and stepped towards the entrance. "Well, that was fun," he said quietly.

Kala yawned,"Yup. Obi didn't do to bad today hunting."
Obi watched them and then trotted off to tell his siblings of his exciting day.
