Bem sucked in air, a stabbing pain exploded in his leg. Hurriedly, he tugged himself away from the vicious wild dog. Once finally free, he limped away, his leg dangling freely. With a bruised ego, his pelt slipped into the lengthening shadows. Moments later, his raspy voice was heard, "Vundu pack... retreat!"

Foluke stood there, a deep crimson liquid poured from his chest.

Sierra stood still,panting heavily.Blood dripped down from her back but she didn't care.They had won..this time.She threw back her head and howled in victory.

"For now."Sierra said grimly "You should get your wounds checked out."She said then limped back into camp.She wasn't excited as she normally was after a battle,she showed no happiness at all.For she knew this was only the beginning.

Sierra limped to where they had hid the pups,she had to make sure they were ok before anything else.
