Zalika sat near Sosian's pack borders, keeping a close eye out for anything out of the ordinary. She lifted her nose up into the air and inhaled, catching the faint scent of another wild dog.

Zalika crouched low into the long grass, melting right into her surroundings. Her large ears quivered to the slightest sounds. She could hear a small small growl, so she knew she had to be close.

Kala headed ahead towards the smell slowly, barely making a sound. She was ready to pounce if this wild dog was a tthreat.

Foluke quickly jumped back, startled by Astrix's sudden move. He hadn't realized her presence, which caught him completely off guard. His warm amber eyes shone brightly in the sun, revealing some discoloring that isn't easily seen. Then he swung his oversized paw across her face, claws unsheathed.

Daudi propelled himself towards Foluke, sinking his razor sharp teeth into his brothers unprotected flesh.

Astrix had gotten cut by his claws, leaving a few scrapes on her cheek. She yelped in supersize, and saw Daudi take a chunk out of him. She did the same, ripping, tearing, and mangling any fur she could get her teeth on.

Zalika lowered her head, forcing the fur around her neck to flatten also. There was an eerie silence, which made her nervous. Slowly, she put one paw in front of the other, careful to not accidentally step on a fragile twig.

Kala stood where she was and slowly lowered into the grass and waited to see if she could see anything.
