A smile crept up on Daudi, hearing her words just made him melt. He couldn't be happier, moments like these makes all his hard work totally worth it. He had a loving mate, a supporting pack, and a place he could call home.

She felt him smile, and smiled with him.

Kira went back to the den where her mate was, Salim. She wondered if he heard the howls.

Salim glanced up at Kira, his eyes glimmered with panic. "I heard the Vundu pack earlier," he said in a raspy voice. He quickly shifted positions, now sitting on his haunches.

Astrix followed silently, feeling a bit tired.

Kira nodded."Yes, I had heard." She said, the slightest hint of panic in her voice.

Daudi entered the den and flopped himself down, curling up into a tight ball. "Goodnight," he yawned tiredly.

Salim bent over and started chewing his rump, quickly getting rid of a itch before turning his attention towards Kira. "This will probably lead up to another war," he sighed, his ears slowly falling back against his head.

Astrix laid down beside him, falling into a peaceful sleep.

Kira sat down with him and nodded. Her and Salim just became mates not to long ago, and where still getting use to each other.

Kira wagged her tail, but saw how frusta:/ted he was. She sat on her haunches next to him, and gave him a few licks on the cheek.
