Sierra winced and shut her eyes,trying to block out the pain.

Astrix stared at her swollen belly and sighed, "They will be born soon," she whispered to herself almost nervously. She wasn't sure if she could raise these pups without her mate, Daudi. Nothing would ever be the same.

Kala was barley able to here Astrix and said to her,"I will do anything to help you and your future pups."

Astrix looked up at Kala and fired up a small smile, "Thanks," her eyes sparkled with pain and grief, although somehow she pushed her emotions away and put on a smile.

Kala sighed. She tried to think of words to comfort Astrix but then thought it would be better if she didn't.

Kala kept her guard up. She watched every wild dog that she thought would cause harm but that was only Foluke she kept her eye on.

Omari cringed as the healer pulled some of the cobwebs off of him and applied soothing water. Although it burned at first, the pain eventually subsided.
