I have also noticed sometimes the no sugar or no fat or whatever things have chemicals or salt or whatever other bad stuff to add flavors they took away. Though that one actually looks pretty good. But isn’t sucralose a sugar? Or at least sweetener? So how can they say no sugar added?
First, sucralose is a sweetener. They are not saying No Sweetener added, they are saying No Sugar added. Sucralose is not a sugar. It is an alcohol of sugar.

Be very careful and read very closely the ingredients in the low or no fat items. They normally add extra sugar to them to make up for the missing fat.

Ah okay very tricky and clever wording there hahah so from sugar but not actually sugar but then again I guess a lot of things even in nature are like that, being like one molecule different and it’s a completely different thing.

And thanks! That’s good to know!

Here are a few alcohols of sugar and Stevia is also one.

"High-intensity sweeteners include saccharin, aspartame, acesulfame potassium (Ace-K), sucralose, neotame, advantame, stevia, and Siraitia grosvenorii Swingle fruit extract (SGFE)."

A friend gave me this for Christmas. I’d be absolutely over the moon except for the POPPING CANDY :sick
