I had seen a dropping with a bit of blood in it 2 days ago. My 9 month old roo died yesterday. He was the only one showing signs of illness...but no blood in his droppings. Isolated him and gave him Corid. Cleaned the coop and put 2 teaspoon of corid in the gallon waterer. Checked the coop today still no sign of illness in any other chicken but there was a bloody dropping in the coop. Will continue the Corid for the full 7 days and then continue with 1 teaspoon per gallon for another 2 weeks. The roo that died only had signs of illness for 2 days before he died. I am wondering if the torrential rain we have had in the last week played any part in this?
