I feel so bad! I looked and looked. I can't find it either. Maybe I've lost my mind and no one told me. I KNOW I saw it. And I was thinking "why isn't this in the for sale part?" I wonder if they put it under wrong thing and mods moved it. But I looked all over and cant find it.

Yeah.... I saw they had them too. I'm reasonably close. But I lost my job last week. (Business closed with no notice) We are still waiting to see if the close is perm. Or temp. Right now, my focus is on back to school. I'm so glad there's only 1 still in school. I'm most likely going to have to borrow from my parents. I doubt they will consider LOs an emergency. No matter how stinkin pretty they are.

Ok. I finally pulled up my browser history. (Duh) I found the specific link. I clicked on it and it took me to byc buy sell trade archives. Then said that the thread I linked to does not exist. Or no longer exists. Something like that. So apparently it was there. Now its not. They must have deleted the add.

Yup. K. Here's the plan? Teamwork. I lost a City job 2009, quit a good job last year. Being old and semi-retired has it's advantages. I'll get a few, have some really cute babies. Then, I'll send you babies! K?

Lol that would be awesome! Seems like every time I feel like my chin is above water a wave smacks the back of my head. Hopefully, by the time you are hatching babies, I will have a job. I'd love my old job back, but A job at least. Maybe you can just give me a really good deal?

I wonder how long til they are a recognized breed? I bet my boy would love showing those for 4-H! Our county doesn't offer a mutt class. Has to be a recognized breed. Apparently they don't care how adorable they are either. Lol

I saw some Lavender Marans yesterday! Wow they are gorgeous birds. The breeder won't have stock to sell for 2 month but she said I could have some if we want them. I didn't dare ask the price. Instead I came home with a Cuckoo Maran and a Cream Legbar!!! So excited. She is a small breeder about 44 min from me and sells low and breeds to help 4H families- just like you mentioned Pink!!!

Instead I came home with a Cuckoo Maran and a Cream Legbar!!! So excited. She is a small breeder about 44 min from me and sells low and breeds to help 4H families- just like you mentioned Pink!!!

I just googled them. Gorgeous! Looked up prices for 2 breeders in Ca. OUCH! $35. per pullet, $25. for a cockarel. This is Ca though, Everything is ridiculous!t Run): $25.00

Hens: $75.00 - $125.00
Cockerels: $25.00 - $60.00(Straight Run): $25.00

Right! but this wasn't listed as breeding stock, just babies. Hen is $75. - $125. Cockarel $25.- $60. Still an understandable price for sure, just hard on the wallet. I want Lavender Orpingtons. Meyer hatchery sells a pair for $150. but there is a long waiting list. I'd like to get 2 more hens and a roo, really good stock. Price doesn't matter. Need to find them. Then, if @k5crew scored some Lavender Marans, we could ship a few to @pinkmartin73 for 4H project! Dream big!
