This will be a learning experience for me. I really want to watch to see who the top hen really is.

It’s not the size of the chicken in the fight. It’s the size of fight in the chicken. That little one has got some sass! This will be a learning experience for me. I really want to watch to see who the top hen really is.
I agree. The BR does not seem to be the aggressor in the video, she's just meeting the EE's challenge head on...and winningYour BR was not the aggressor.
That is so true! My Frizzle Bantam Jane whooped by 3 large fowl chickens’ butts when I rescued her and now she is top chicken. It’s not the size of the chicken in the fight. It’s the size of fight in the chicken. That little one has got some sass!
Doesn't really matter who the head hen is.....
.....spread treats out on the ground to avoid this scenario.
Battle can ensue at all levels of the pecking order...sh!t rolls downhill!![]()
NOPE! It's definitely Fraggle that is the aggressor! Letting them out this morning everyone rushed out except Henneth Fowltrow (and of course Roopecca which is normal for him). I waited. When she finally ventured out to join the flock and eat some veggies Fraggle instantly attacked chasing Henneth the length of the run in 4 rounds till Henneth took refuge in the coop nesting area. This happened 2 more times including one time that Fraggle actually went inside and chased Henneth out and attacked her. I believe strongly that the video of Henneths attack on Fraggle yesterday was Henneth attempting to get past to get to food, maybe a bit of retaliation for having just been attacked which wasn't caught in the video. I'm leaving for daughters Dr. appointment now but hope to not find disaster when I get home.
