Bay Area BYCers!

Do you think that there is any chance that the shipments from the two breeders will be close timewise? When are we supposed to be getting the olive eggers? I don't have really have the set up to be raising multiple groups of chicks this spring.

That's what I was just thinking about too, Debi.

Maybe we should wait until we get an estimated time of arrival for the first order, then see if we can place another to be delivered close to that same date. Has everyone deposited their payment into the PayPal account?

The Olive Eggers will arrive to me as eggs in late March/early April, it'll take 21 days for incubation from there. So they should be hatched before the end of April.

If we can coordinate the shipments, I would be interested in 2 Wheatens. I'm really only allowed 10 chickens in our city limits and I have 7 already. But chicks don't count, do they?

Plus, since they are straight runs, I have to count on getting some boys that will have to be rehomed.

My zoning says # of adult animals....

Yes I'll go for two, but will step out if you get more... since I have 15 coming already. My brooder is ok up to about 20. Just don't tell DH.

Has everyone sent their payments to the PayPal account?

I would like to place the order with John tomorrow.

Thanks guys!

I just tried. I've never used PayPal before and it said it would take 2-3 days to confirm my account (I didn't want to give them my SS# or my Acct. password). Is there another way I can get this to you? I'm afraid they probably mean 2-3 business days.

You could deposit the funds directly into my account at Bank of America? That's the only fast way I can think of. PM me for the account info.

jeremy, just a reminder, Paypal charges a fee to the recipient, just don't want you to be short on these orders...

So nice of you to do this for folks. Happy New Year
