Oh norm I'm sorry i sold her within 10 minutes of me posting that message. I'll be soon hatching - I've got 3 roos on 8 girls right now....need to divide them up and get rid of one roo. The breeding pens are all built - they are awesome! If you like I'll put you on my coronation chick list - or would you like eggs?

Eggs would be awesome, love hatching.

OK, the thing is that I really really need them when we pick up the other chicks from you, 'member?? I will need to integrate the group of them all together, as I think that will go over better than having two lonely chicks in a brooder, and then having to add in the other six babies the end of March... NOT that I want to give up my chance, but I need to be practical. Jeremy, I am SO happy they are laying!! If you do the test hatch with these two, can we plan for four chicks for me to pick up with the other six chicks I've ordered with the group arrive March 23-24? Pretty please? I will PM you to beg more...! BTW that Tolbunt was gor-ge-ous!

Anna, neither Wellie ever squatted for me, so you are the bomb!

Oky Doky, no takers on BCM eggs?
They are goin in the bator in the am then! :)
I think I have a few Wellies too...
I'm gonna have plenty of babies here this spring! :)
If I have spares, I'll offer up the chicks later!

This is the "truest blue" that my Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas give me. Like I've mentioned before, I do have a hen that lays more of a teal egg that seems a bit more vibrant.

Honestly Ameraucanas eggs, no mayer what the variety, don't get much bluer. You'll be hard pressed to find the elusive "robin's egg blue" anywhere. Mostly because (I believe) it doesn't truly exist.

Folks can do magical things with their cameras and lighting though to make you believe otherwise... just browse the auctions here on BYC... the photo above was taken outside on a clear day in the evening, with flash.

I would love to see pictures or your "robin's egg blue" eggs laid by your birds.

As far as the auction goes, all I have to say is check out the feedback and other pictures that were posted by the seller...
