Bay Area BYCers!

I hate thieves!
Someone took my blue AM roo, Bon Jovi today!
I've searched all over, taken pics to the feedstores and put an ad on CL.
Been crying my eyes out since 3:00. He was out there at 1:30, so I think it the time I picked my son up from school is when it happened.

Oh KIM!!! That's horrible! You need to move girl!

a trio? What fun for you

Cheryl,
How's your "Daphne and Clio" doing? Still have them? Any chicks that they've hatched?

Dawn,
We went to Hunt - Beherns today, since they were closed on Monday .. Didn't get the organic feed, after speaking with the lady there, who said their regular feed had no GMO in the fields. She also said their feed prices WILL GO UP on Monday, due to the rise in corn prices. She has no idea how much. My husband decided to get two bags of feed today at the old price.

For those of you who don't know H-B, it is a feed store that mills its own product and brand ... you can smell the nice aroma for miles in Petaluma. They don't sell chicks or any live animals. Only feed and some basic supply products.

While I love Western Farm Center in Santa Rosa, they do not have their own feed, but sell name brand ones, such as Purina.

Keep warm, everyone !

So sorry about your roo. Hopefully the jerk who took Bon Jovi got severely pecked.

Renee,
How's Bridget doing?

Jeremy,
Has your missing girl come home yet?

Daphne, Bridget seems to be doing great. It occurred to me that she got sick shortly after grazing in the area between our house and the apartment next door (and hehe, it belongs to the apartment). They have a gardener, and in the past he has sprayed pesticides. I'm wondering if that caused Bridget to be ill. Though Yolanda has been perfectly fine. Oh well, I guess I'll never know. I just hope there's no more rubber eggs. Thanks for asking! And stay warm.

My blue orps are great, still tail-less from their introduction to the flock many months ago and seemingly just about ready to lay. They are in my layer flock not breeding so no chicks!
