Bay Area BYCers!

Friends I need a favor... I have a customer/friend that I was intending to hatch some eggs for his son's 5th birthday and have them out to The Omelet Ranch for a mini birthday celebration!. With everything that is going on I couldn't get eggs into the incubator in time. His birthday is on May 16th.

Does anyone have pure bred chicks hatching around that time, a week or two earlier is fine too, that I can purchase for this little boy.

They already have some wyandottes, ameraucana, light sussex from hatches I've done. They are the sweetest nicest family...

I'm looking for these breeds

Wheaten marans
speckled sussex
delawares
RIR
partridge/silver laced plymouth rocks
buff orpington
salmon faverolle
Welsummer
barnevelder
maybe others I haven't named...

cool! what lines are they?

Well I wanted to provide him with the best mix of my favs too! i have some coronations from my flock in the bator (hatch 4/30), so I hope I can add a couple of those

Cheryl, I should have fertile pure English Blue & Splash Orpington eggs by that time, however I only sell chicks.

ETA: I wanted to clarify, I only sell chicks from my Orpingtons, I do sell both chicks and hatching eggs from my Ameraucana.

D'oh! Sorry I skimmed through the post when I first read it.

Well, I may have chicks available around that time.

Does anyone want some sex linked Easter Egger hatching eggs?

I've got a broody setting on some right now, but I'll have Olive Egger eggs for her to hatch on Wednesday. I'd rather not throw these eggs out as she's already been sitting on them for about 4 days.

The cockerels will hatch and be a pale yellow color, the pullets will be a buttery, golden yellow with faint chipmunk stripes. They are a cross between a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana roo and Delaware hens.

The two chicks above were hatched by Daphne's family in Berkeley, I didn't know at the time that they were sex linked, be sure to let them know Daphne that the lighter chick is a boy!

Jeremy,

Thanks for the info ... I guess eventually you or your friend Norm will need to take back the little future roo! Would you like the little pullet back also?

The eight eggs that my broody cochin #1 is setting on since April 4 are Black Copper Marans, purebred, ameraucana cross and cuckoo cross.

Thanks for the concern. I hope she's not sick ... eeek if she is ....

So far, she's/Esperanaza's been sitting in the hay barn all day. Last night my husband took her out and put her in with the others in the coop. I'm getting some BCM eggs tomorrow for her.

Went to Cheryl's and got her two orps .. they are A LOT smaller than the first two, 50% English Orps ! Will send you some photos!
